But what it brings is a breath of fresh air to the dried genre and it is game which contains interesting new gameplay mechanics and interactivity tools making it a diamond in the rough. Story is structured as a mixture of many noir-based film classics and has many famous cinema moments and mentions.. A stale noir with an irritiating lead character., cliche' music. Designwise is not that bad. Even if you are a fan of the genre, i would certainly not recommend it. Infinitely better to (re)watch a Bogart or Hitchcok film. Also there are much better adventures out there (Cognition; The Blackwell series, the list is long).. Film Noir inspired Adventure Game. Graphics are simple. Soundtrack is great, Voice Acting is good. The Interface is very primitive (tip: highlighting is F1). Writing is pretty good. Characters are ... interesting: lets just say that Characters are written to be "period appropriate". Puzzles aren't exactly self obvious (I guess that is a good thing) - and could be accused of "pixel hunt". This one is for Adventure Game veterans and Film Noir fans... Me, otherwise avoid.. This is a fabulous game. The story is exciting and engaging and the puzzles relatively easy. At least in the most frustrating puzzles there is a 'skip' button. I do wish Face Noir 11 had been developed as I would certainly buy it.. Play this game is like you read a detective novel but you play as a main character to find some clue.So funny. I reccomend this game for the one who love Sherlock holmes, Kindaichi or Detective Conan.By the way cauz I buy it from some bundle so i think i worth. :). It's a good adventure game. Maybe not one of the best ever made, but certainly one to recommend.They did get the whole noir ambiance in there nicely. And the story's okay.
